An unforgettable experience

Summary
I once swam with dolphins at Sea World in Queensland. I felt so excited. A dolphin jumped over my head. I got to hug one. It was very soft. I also sang to the dolphin. But he didn't like it. He dived under the water. I also saw penguins at Sea World. I especially liked the little babies.

I went swimming with the dolphins

I remember the time I went swimming with the dolphins at Sea World in Queensland.

I put on my bathers and wore a wet suit. I felt tingly inside as I went in the water. I swam to the end of the bridge where the dolphins came in. A dolphin was jumping over my head and I felt the water on my neck. I think it could see me.

I hugged one. It was very soft.

Singing to the dolphin

I sang to the dolphin. I sang the Britney Spears song Baby One More Time. But he didn’t like it and went down further in the water.

It was time to hop out of the water and see my mum. Stacy, what happened to the dolphin? Mum said. I was singing to the dolphin, Mum, I said. She told me not to.

The penguins

After my swim, I saw the penguins. They were black and white and all I could think of was the Collingwood Football Club.

The penguins were big. But I also saw small ones, including babies. The penguins were eating fish very slowly. I like them. I especially like the little babies. I like them a lot.
